Sometimes Blue is a photo series that explores the idea of suppressed expression. Trauma and limiting self beliefs passed down from generation to generation evolves into feelings of shame and the inability to freely express one’s true emotions or identity.

I seek to capture the complications and complexities of suppressed expression, while also shedding light on the ways in which we often unconsciously keep ourselves bound by our own limiting beliefs that what we have to say, our unique perspectives, are not important.
